1. What did he accomplish?
Simon Bolivar helped gain back a lot of the lost land and liberty to the people that the Spanish Monarchy took over. He was named the president of Venezuela and also Peru but he didn't take the offer. He got a country named in his honor. He was the future of South America.

2. Why was he so famous?
Simon Bolivar was so famous because he helped many countries declare its independence and he was also named as the president of Venezuela (Feb.15 1819). Also he was the future of South America.

3. Who did he work to defeat?
He worked to defeat the Spanish Monarchy.

4. What was he fighting for in the first place?
He was fighting for the freedom and  independence of countries that were taken over by the Spanish Monarchy.

5. Name 5 countries that are mentioned in the video, and what he did in each of the five countries.
Rome Italy : He wouldn't going to rest until his homeland was free again.
Bolivia : Fought for the freedom of the people and was named after it.
Venezuela : He was named the president.
France : Witnessed the coronation of Napoleon in Notre Dame.
Spain : He was raised there.
